We sort through the berries, remove leaves, stalks and other garden garbage. To get rid of the larvae, pour raspberries in a bowl with slightly salted water and leave for several minutes. If the berries have larvae, they will float to the surface of the water.
Then we discard the berries on a sieve, pour into a pan, put on the stove. Bring to a boil over low heat, boil for 5 minutes.
Then pour granulated sugar. If the berries are sour, I advise you to take gelling sugar with pectin, so the jam will be thick without long cooking. Mix the berry puree with sugar, put the pan on the stove again.
Bring the mass to a boil, cook for 5 minutes. When boiling, a pink foam forms, it must be removed. I remember how in childhood my brother and I were spinning in the kitchen near the granny, waiting for a bowl of foam. No fresh berries could replace this delicacy!
